Environmental Policy
Rapid Security Services Ltd (RSS Ltd) believes it has an important duty to ensure good environmental performance in all its business operations and to provide the necessary organisation, commitment, and training to fulfil this obligation.
RSS Ltd understands its duty to deliver its clients a high-quality service, through high quality operations, and believes this can be achieved through implementing sustainable practices.
Our policy shows commitment to the protection of the environment, including prevention of pollution and specific commitments such as protecting the environment and sustaining resource use, climate change mitigation and adaptation and protection of biodiversity and ecosystems.
Our aims will be achieved through:
- Compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and other related requirements.
- Assessing and managing the significant environmental aspects of operations, including monitoring, and minimising the harmful effect of waste generated by operations.
- Disposal of waste in an environmentally responsible manner, whilst seeking to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever practicable.
- Minimisation of use of energy through staff awareness, training, and good housekeeping.
- Monitoring and minimising the levels of fuel use and CO2 emissions arising from vehicle usage in the conduct of our business activities.
- Communicating our aims to customers, management, employees, and those working on behalf of RSS Ltd, ensuring that all are aware of their environmental responsibilities in relation to RSS Ltd operations.
- Through examining the environmental management practices of our current and potential suppliers, wherever appropriate.
RSS Ltd will promote its objectives and will respond positively to enquiries and suggestions from both inside and outside the company.
All employees have responsibilities for policy implementation by participating and contributing to its success through their actions and suggestions.
The Company’s environmental policy forms the cornerstone of its efforts to prevent pollution and continually improve its environmental performance and will be reviewed at least on an annual basis.
The Directors have ultimate responsibility for this Policy and though the Management team will direct this policy to you and other interested parties.
