QUALITY POLICY

  1. Statement of Rapid Security Services UK Ltd. Quality Policy
    Rapid Security Services (UK) ltd (the Organisation) aims to provide defect free goods and services to its customers on time and within budget.
  2. The Organisation operates a Quality Management System that has gained including aspects specific to security and other manpowered facility services covered by BS 7499 and BS 7858.
  3. The management is committed to: Develop and improve the Quality Management System.
  4. Continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System. The enhancement of customer satisfaction.
  5. The management has a continuing commitment to: Ensure that customer needs and expectations are determined and fulfilled with the aim of achieving customer satisfaction.
  6. Communicate throughout the Organisation the importance of meeting customer needs and legal requirements
  7. Establish the Quality Policy and its Objectives Ensure that the Management Review meeting sets and reviews the Quality Objectives, and reports on the Internal Audit results as a means of monitoring and measuring the processes and the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  8. Ensure the availability of resources. The structure of the Quality Management System is defined in our Quality Manual. All Head-Office personnel understand the requirements of this Quality Policy and abide with the contents of the Quality and Procedures Manual.
  9. The Organisation complies with all English and EU legislation and regulations specifically related to its business activities.
  10. The Organisation constantly monitors its quality performance and implements improvements when appropriate. This Quality Policy is regularly reviewed in order to ensure its continuing suitability.
  11. Copies of the Quality Policy and the Management Review minutes are available to all members of staff as a means of communicating the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

2. Quality Objectives

  1. To manage and assess the manpower requirement on a weekly basis, to avoid customer dissatisfaction, to ensure no more than a maximum of 5% of site-based staff vacancies at any time.
  2. To make effective responses to security incidents to customers within 24 hours, reporting, investigating and concluding the incidents, to the satisfaction of the customer within seven days.
  3. To make effective responses to customer complaints within 24 hours, reporting, investigating and concluding the complaint, to the satisfaction of the customer within ten days.
  4. To maintain and monitor a performance management system with customer input at formal customer meetings, ideally every four weeks, completing minutes of the meetings and completion of a KPI scoring chart (when required). KPI responses are reviewed at the weekly operations meeting.
  5. To meet and exceed the financial targets as set out in the current financial forecast of the company, whilst providing a quality service, in accordance with the Quality
  6. Management System. Reviewed four weekly at Finance Meetings.
  7. All Head Office staff to receive QMS overview training within 3 months of start of employment. Training to be recorded on the
  8. Head Office Learning and Development record.
  9. To make preventive use of statistical analysis detailed in the QMS, to identify problematic trends and to take the appropriate Corrective
  10. Action prior to customer dissatisfaction.

Disciplinary action under the disciplinary procedure will be taken against any employee who is found to have committed an act of unlawful discrimination. Discriminatory conduct and sexual or racial harassment will be regarded as acts of gross misconduct.

If there is any doubt about appropriate treatment under the Rapid’s Equal Opportunities Policy, employees should consult their immediate supervisor. Grievance procedure is available to any employee who which to challenge unfair discrimination against them.

HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Every Rapid Security & Concierge officer undergoes a full 5 year screening process in strict accordance with the BS7858 before being allocated any operational duties for the company. Additionally we also carry out credit status checks along with enhanced annual DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service formerly known as CRB or i.e. Criminal Records Bureau checks) checks on all officers who will be assigned to certain clients for example for those working with vulnerable adults and young persons, it gives our clients peace of mind.

The objective of the health and safety policy is to minimise accidents or situations which might endanger the health, safety or welfare of any and all persons in connection with the company business. Rapid acknowledges its overall responsibility to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable the health & Safety and welfare at work for its employees. It will only be possible for the Company to comply with these obligations if both its employees and any clients or other affected third parties understand that they are under a duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and any others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. This includes working to the Company’s rules, following safe systems of work, using appropriate personal protective equipment and drawing any matters of concern to the attention of the management. Any and all equipment provided by the Company is to be kept in good working order and should only be used for the purpose for which they were intended. Any defects in equipment should be reported to the management at the earliest opportunity. All employees should familiarise themselves with the procedures to be followed in the event of a fire or similar emergency at the premises where they are working.

Any incident which results in an injury must be reported in writing to the management. Any employee found, or suspected to be, under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be suspended and subject to the Company’s disciplinary procedures. Smoking is prohibited at all times during the working day.
